Our Mission
The H.E.A.L. Network mission is to be an inclusive and welcoming Learning Health Network focused on enhancing Sickle Cell Disease health outcomes through real time data-driven insights, quality improvement and collaborative efforts.
To accomplish this mission, we are initially focused on the following Key Goals:
Develop an inclusive and welcoming network that facilitates collaboration among institutions on sickle cell disease management.
Establish a robust network of collaborating institutions to provide comprehensive and shared data on sickle cell disease. To enhance our ability to conduct detailed analyses for benchmarking, collaboration, and generating valuable learning insights to promote population health outcomes.
Strengthen the capacity of each participating institution within our network to implement advanced quality improvement (QI) methodologies. The network will empower institutions to effectively identify and address specific gaps in care and operational efficiency.
Select and execute multi-institutional QI initiatives.
